One-Day AI Training Program – Empowering Educators for the Future
On 5th July 2025, the faculty members of DMI College of Education actively participated in a one-day Artificial Intelligence (AI) Training Program, jointly sponsored by the UTA Administration and the Government of Tamil Nadu. This special initiative was conducted for teachers and professors from institutions across Thiruvallur District. Representing our institution, the following faculty members attended the program: • Dr. P. Jayachandran • Dr. B. Suresh • Dr. U. Jaya Subramanian • Mrs. B. Ezhilarasi • Dr. M. Kalaimathi The training was designed to: • Introduce the fundamentals and future of Artificial Intelligence in Education • Explore AI-based tools for classroom teaching, assessment, and student support • Encourage digital transformation and prepare educators for technologically enhanced teaching Participants explored real-world applications of AI in personalized learning, data-driven instruction, ethical considerations, and integrating AI in curriculum planning. The training fostered awareness and inspired faculty to adapt innovative methodologies for improved learning outcomes. This insightful session empowered our faculty with the latest digital competencies and reaffirmed DMI College of Education’s commitment to continuous professional development and Academic excellence.
